About the Project

The Geraldton Project is a not-for-profit community strengthening organisation. We are part of the North Midlands Project which was incorporated in 2015 to enhance the quality of life, health and well-being of people living in regional Western Australia through arts, culture, history and heritage.

Strengthening regional communities through culture, arts, history and heritage experiences.

By 2035 Western Australia will be recognised as a leader in creating vibrant, healthy and sustainable regional communities through arts and culture initiatives.

We believe providing access to high quality, diverse and innovative arts and cultural experiences has the power to transform both regional Western Australia and its people. The arts facilitates the celebration of local stories, provides economic opportunities, contributes to tourism and brings people together.

As a team we bring creativity, integrity and a genuine passion of the arts, culture, heritage and education to engage and collaborate with the community. We value:

Access - We embrace and encourage diverse ideas that are inclusive of all community groups and individuals.

Collaboration - We are strong believers in and are committed to working with artists, local organisations, government and the community. Together we are stronger.

Creativity - We pride ourselves on being an enthusiastic, engaging organisation that fosters expression, innovation and imagination.

Professionalism - We operate our organisation with the highest level of integrity, excellence and respect.
